Information for outgoing ERASMUS+ students, citizens of countries outside the EUROPEAN UNION

  1. Every calendar year in the period January – June, the selection campaign for recruiting students/doctoral students for SMS, SMT and BIP, in program countries and partner countries (KA131), for the next academic year, is launched. In October, an additional selection is made for the summer semester of the current academic year based on the same conditions.
  2. All concluded bilateral contracts for student/doctorate and staff mobility are announced on the ERASMUS+ page of the NAM. The deadlines for submission of applications by the candidates are determined according to the instructions of the receiving institutions.
  3. Candidates for SMO/SMP and KMIP – full-time study at OKS Bachelor, Master and Doctor, submit applications for participation in mobility to the ERASMUS+ office. Applicants for postgraduate internships must apply while they are students in order to be selected before graduation.
  4. All candidates for SMS/SMT/BIP who have submitted applications for participation in mobility provide a portfolio – a link to an internet resource with their performances, a CV in EUROPASS format, a letter of motivation, an academic reference, a list of the subjects they wish to study at the selected host institutions . The number of institutions to apply for is unlimited.

Those wishing to take part in the program, full-time students and doctoral students, citizens of countries outside the European Union, go through a preliminary selection procedure, which includes exams on language preparation to acquire level B2 in English and level B1 in the language of destination. They obtain the right to apply after successful completion of the first year of study at the NAM, and the stay at the host institution must not cover their last semester of study, as well as the last 3 months of the term of their issued residence document on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Exams to certify the language training of students/doctoral students from non-EU countries are conducted by a training organization certified for the purpose, selected by the NAM. The candidate shall pay examination fees determined as per the organization’s price list.

  1. The specialty of the students/doctoral students should correspond to the field of knowledge for which the bilateral agreement was concluded.
