Duration of study:
– 1 academic year, full-time study, for bachelors main subjecting in “Classical Singing”;
– 2 academic years, full-time study, for bachelors with other main subjects.
To obtain a Master’s degree, 60 credits are required for each academic year. They are recruited from compulsory (70%), optional (20%) and optional (10%) disciplines.
At the decision of the department in which the student studies his special subject, he may be awarded an additional 2 credits per year for bright and prestigious artistic performances.
Admission: The conditions for admission to the specialty are published in the Master’s candidate directories for the relevant academic year, available on the NAM website.
Disciplines studied:
– compulsory: pedagogical practice, classical singing, acting, opera singing with a conductor, chamber singing, vocal methodology, educational musical theater;
– electives: history of art, work with an accompanist, musical aesthetics, fencing, implementation of research projects, make-up, Bulgarian language, Italian language;
– optional: German language, English language, Russian language, French language, sports, sports dances.
Method of graduation:
– an open lesson with a student, including performances of different styles;
– Master’s thesis defense.
