Study period: 4 academic years, full-time study
To obtain a bachelor’s degree, 240 credits (60 for each year) are required, which are collected from compulsory (70%), elective (20%) and (10%) optional disciplines.
Disciplines studied:
– compulsory: special subject, orchestral ensembles, combo compositions, compulsory piano, improvisation, solfege, harmony, instrumental knowledge, orchestration, history of music, history of jazz, history of pop music, polyphony, musical folklore, musical aesthetics, musical analysis;
-electives: accompaniment, additional instrument, brass ensembles, history of Bulgarian music, sound engineering, studio technique, music management, musical layout and music editing, foreign language I, history of the instrument, pedagogical practice;
– optional: foreign language II, copyright and the protection of creators, sports, qi gong, Chinese gymnastics.
