Duration of study:
– 1 academic year, full-time study, for bachelors main subjecting in “Classical Singing”;
– 2 academic years, full-time study, for bachelors, graduates of other specialties.
To obtain a Master’s degree, 60 credits are required for each academic year. They are recruited from compulsory (70%), optional (20%) and optional (10%) disciplines.
At the decision of the department in which the student studies his special subject, he may be awarded an additional 2 credits per year for bright and prestigious artistic performances.
Admission: The conditions for admission to the specialty are published in the Master’s candidate directory for the relevant academic year, published on the NAM website.
Disciplines studied:
– compulsory: classical singing, acting, singing with a conductor, verbal acting, dance training, educational musical theatre, history of operetta and musical.
– electives: history of art, dramaturgy and interpretation of operetta and musical, work with an accompanist, musical aesthetics, vocal methodology. art history, work with an accompanist, fencing, make-up, microphone technique.
– optional: German language, English language, French language, Russian language, sports, sports dances. approach and realization of research projects, Bulgarian language, Italian language;
Method of graduation:
-state exam – solo concert or central part in an operetta performance or musical – Master’s thesis defense.
